Westchester Fertility is Reopening!

Some great news!

We are happy and excited to announce we are starting to see patients for treatment at our Westchester Fertility clinic!

This week we resumed all types of treatments, including intrauterine inseminations, egg retrievals, and embryo transfers.

After nearly two months of sheltering in place, staying at home and conducting virtual and phone appointments, we are ready to implement new policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff members.

We strictly are adhering to guidelines and directives from both reproductive medical organizations like the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, as well as from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, the leading authorities on COVID-19.

We are asking patients to comply with the following:

• Please schedule appointments for all in-person and virtual fertility services. We will conduct all new patient consults and follow-up visits virtually or by phone.

• Complete a brief questionnaire to assess possible COVID-19 exposure or infection.

• We will conduct temperature checks for all staff and patients.

• Arrive on time for your appointment, which will be scheduled so it is spaced out appropriately.

• We want to minimize the number of people in our office, so your partner can not accompany you inside our clinic.

• Patients must wait in their car until they are texted to come into the office. There only will be one person at a time at our facilities, i.e., either in the ultrasound room or in Dr. Blotner’s office.

• Please wear face masks or cloth coverings over your mouth and nose while you are in the office and near our employees. We also will ask you to wash your hands for twenty seconds after you are screened.

• Your cycle will be canceled if you become sick with COVID-19. You will need to contact your primary care physician for instructions and testing.

We appreciate your patience and thank you for your cooperation. Everyone’s health and safety is our foremost concern.
